Waco: Rapper has song featured in popular video game

He’s known by his stage name T-MOE, but people in Waco know him as Terrence Moore.

he Midway High School graduate has been rapping ever since he can remember.

Moore remembered back to when he went into the industry,
“Fooling around rapping my whole life but they were like wait you are actually kind of good, and I was like no… but they said no you really are good at rapping.”

After being persuaded in 2014 he dropped his first mix-tape called “I Got the Juice.”

Moore says he actually recorded the entire mix-tape in one of his friends closets.

Now a few years later, Moore is recording for Proper Partnered out of Waco where he has seen national success.

His songs have been featured in HBO’s Ballers, the UFC, Pro Evolution Soccer, and most recently in the new “Mortal Kombat” video game trailer.

Fellow rapper and high school friend Darien Kyle says T-MOE is headed for even more success.

“My brother is unstoppable man. People finally coming along to give him support from the hometown… he not fixing to stop for nothing,” says Kyle.

Moore says he isn’t done yet and hopes to make it to the top of the industry, but he’ll never forget where he came from.

“Waco is my hometown I have to represent that forever. It helped mold me as a person my mindset. I am forever representing Waco Texas,” says Moore.
