Lil Wayne Denies Quitting Tour With Blink-182 After Walking Off Stage

Rapper Lil Wayne caused speculation that he was leaving his tour with rock group Blink-182 after telling the crowd at a show in Bristol, Virginia that he was unhappy with the arrangement before walking off stage after only four songs.  However, he quickly cleared up the rumors via his social media.

Before leaving the stage last week, Lil Wayne thanked the band for including him in the tour before telling the crowd, “hold on. I just want the people to know — if you’re wondering, please forgive me. But I am so not used to performing to a crowd and there’s not too many — you know … that’s not my swag. I’m not sure how long I’m going to be able to do this tour but make some noise for Blink-182 for including me anyway. This might be my last night though, let’s go.”

Lil Wayne addressed the rumors on Twitter, writing, “Yesterday was krazy! But I want all my fans to know I won’t be quitting this tour! I’m having too much fun with my bros blink-182. Bangor, ME See you tomorrow!”

The North American leg of the tour is scheduled to continue into September.
