The Killeen City Council voted Tuesday night to enter into an agreement that will allow a local group to help pay for a new outdoor fitness court.

The project is estimated to cost $135,000, with the Junior Service League of Killeen donating $75,000, the National Fitness Campaign granting $30,000 and the city chipping in another $30,000.

It is not the first time the city has entered into an agreement with JSL, the presentation showed to council members listed several other agreements.

The new court will be open to the public and will be designed for people of all fitness levels.

There was no word on when the project will begin or when construction will wrap up.
