Hustle Co-working in Waco celebrated its grand opening Friday evening.

Pro Football Hall of Famer LaDainian Tomlinson made a special appearance as a board member for Start Up Waco.

Graduating from University High School, Tomlinson is no stranger to the Waco area. He believes that workspace gives local entrepreneurs the resources to create their own business plan. He gives a lot back to his hometown.

“This is the community that raised me, I love this community very much and to be a part of the ground roots of something like this, I envision that in 20 years I’ll look back on this very day and say that was the day that I think for a lot of us really changed Waco,” said Tomlinson.

Tomlinson says that when the opportunity came to sit on the Start Up board, he knew he couldn’t pass it up.
