The M-E-T-H-O-D Man has been added to the Power spinoff titled Power Book II. He will join his “I’ll Be There for You/You’re All I Need to Get By” collaborator Mary J. Blige in the series.
Deadline details the series will feature the Wu-Tang rapper as an “ambitious and savvy attorney” named Davis Maclean. Maclean is stated to be intrigued by the NYC underworld that is led by Blige’s lead role and will end up having to face the secrets of his past.
The series will follow the final season of the current Power shoes, which is wrapping up on Power by detailing who killed the lead character Ghost. The final episode will air on February 9.
There is currently not a date available for when we can expect Power Book II to hit screens.
