The Big3 has eased the painful summers of no sports, specifically basketball, by bringing the stars of yesteryear to the hardwood for three on three basketball. Now the league is here to save our minds during the coronavirus quarantine.
The Big3 will launch a reality show three-on-three tournament in April that will fill the void of no sports, Yahoo Sports reports.
Founders Ice Cube and Jeff Kwatinetz are currently negotiating with TV networks to broadcast the tournament. During the seasons The Big3 has aired on both CBS and Fox Sports. The reality tournament is said to corral international viewers.
The preseason quarantine tournament will bring in 16 to 22 players that tested negative for coronavirus, quarantining them in a Los Angeles mansion and kicking off a basketball run. The court and facility will be built on site. If a player decided to leave the quarantine, they would be eliminated. Daily lives and games will be captured for storyline by a production red that will be nearby offsite.

“As long as we can protect the players, which we will do through proper testing and quarantine, Ice cube and I feel we can give fans some safe, entertaining brand of basketball to get everyone through this pandemic,” Kwatinetz told Yahoo Sports.
