It’s been a minute since we had NBA action, but it’s been even longer since we saw John Wall.

In a conference call with reporters on Tuesday, the Washington Wizards point guard declared himself to be fully healthy.

“I’m 110 percent,” said Wall, per Fred Katz of The Athletic. “I’m healthy.”

Wall has not played in an NBA game since December 2018. He initially had surgery for bone spurs in his left heel, but amid his rehab, he tore his left Achilles tendon and needed another operation in 2019.

When healthy, Wall is one of the best pure point guards in the game. When this current NBA season resumes Wall still wouldn’t be expected back on the court. Wall is still owed a gargantuan $133 million over the next three seasons. With that price tag, the Wizards can’t afford to rush him back this season and subject him to another nagging injury.

At this point, it would be in the best interest of the Wizards to slowly think about Wall and the team’s future for the 2020-2021 season.
