The Texas State Fair is only 99 days away and they plan to open their gates as normal.
As of writing this, the State Fair is expected to take place from September 25 to October 18, 2020.
In a statement given to KDAF from the fair, “Unless any orders are in place by local, state, or agencies, or health and safety concerns exist, the State Fair of Texas will plan on welcoming guests as usual while implementing all preventive measures recommended by the CDC and other relevant health agencies.”
Several large-scale events both state and nationwide have been canceled to slow the spread of COVID-19.
