Juelz Santana Is Reunited With Family After Release From Prison

Juelz Santana was sentenced to 2 years in federal prison back in 2018, after fleeing Newark Airport and being charged with possession of a loaded handgun. Santana, whose real name is Laron James, turned himself into Port Authority Police Department after three days and began serving his sentence in December 2018.

Now after serving 17 of the initial 27 months, Santana is a free man. The 38-year-old rapper took to Instagram following his release to inform the world. “I missed my family. GOD is good.”  He added on another post, “Free at last #ImBack #SantanaFree”

A few months ago, the rapper released a Free Santana project with guest appearances from Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and more.
