Oprah will reportedly be hosting an upcoming interview with the subjects of Leaving Neverland, HBO’s documentary about two of Michael Jackson’s alleged sexual child abuse cases. Oprah Winfrey Presents: After Neverland will include Jackson’s alleged victims, Wade Robson and James Safechuck and the doc’s director, Dan Reed.

The special was reportedly “taped before an audience of survivors of sexual abuse and others whose lives have been impacted by it,” a press release states.

Jackson’s family, who has protested the documentary since the beginning, sat down with Oprah’s close friend, Gayle King on CBS This Morning on Tuesday (Feb. 26), to talk about the documentary. Michael’s older brother, Jackie, admitted to not having seen the film. “I don’t have to see the documentary. I know Michael. I know what he stood for, what he was all about,” he said “People that really know him, they know the truth too.”

Jackson’s nephew Taj also commented on the sleepovers his uncle would have with children. “I grew up in it, so for me it wasn’t odd. You know, I think, to the outside world, yes, I think it can be odd,” he noted. “I mean, I’m not oblivious to what it sounds like. But when you’re actually there in that atmosphere and you’re around it, and you’re watching movies with his kids, whether it’s Little Rascals or Three Stooges, and you’re watching these things… it’s very innocent. But I think the fault on my uncle was he just, he didn’t have that bone in his body to look at it the other way. And I think that was the thing, is that his naiveté was his downfall in a way.”

As previously reported, Leaving Neverland focused on Robson and Safechuck’s accounts of the sexual abuse they endured at the hand of Michael Jackson during countless visits to his home at Neverland Ranch. The two sued Jackson’s estate in 2013, but the case was dismissed. Jackson’s estate is suing HBO for $100 million.

Oprah Winfrey Presents: After Neverland is set to air after the premiere of the second part of Leaving Neverland on March 4.
